Which furniture choices are best for my Tacoma studio apartment?

by Janice on March 6, 2010

Tacoma studio apartments are one of the most popular choices when it comes to living on your own. For people who simply don’t want to deal with the drama of having a roommate, a Tacoma studio apartment is a perfect compromise since it is less expensive than living with a roommate but not too expensive. However, space is at a premium in a studio apartment so you have to make the most of your furnishing choices. Here are a few options you can consider.

While futons were not invented for studio apartment use, they really are the best way to get a sofa and a bed all in one. However, the knock on futons is that they simply aren’t very comfortable, for sleeping or for sitting. In recent years, though, futons have come a long way and are now more comfortable than ever. If you have bad futon memories, you can also go with a sofa that folds out into a bed. If you don’t think you will need a sofa at all, simply get a regular bed and forgo a sofa, but if you plan on entertaining, you will need someplace for people to sit.

Dining in a studio apartment can be tough. There isn’t much room for a kitchen table or a dining room table but you have to eat somewhere. Many people use small tables that can be folded up and stored away that seat two or maybe three people comfortably. There are a wide range of tables such as these available at most furniture stores.
